Degree

Successful completion of our program leads to a Bachelor of Professional Studies/Master of Science degree in Acupuncture. Full-time students can complete the program in three years.

Our program qualifies graduates to take the acupuncture examinations of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). It also fulfills New York State's professional education requirement for acupuncture licensure.

Although we have an active program, we are not accepting new students. Prospective students interested in the classical Chinese acupuncture curriculum created by Jeffrey Yuen can now take it as a track within the Master of Science program at Pacific College.

For examples of the paths graduates take after becoming licensed acupuncturists, see Graduates Making a Life, as well as articles on acupuncture in our on-line newsletter, Sinews.
